Life is like dancing….
It’s not about getting from one place to another;
It’s about enjoying each Step!

Benefits of Dance
A study by the Albert Einstein College of Medicine found that dancing reduced the risk of dementia more than any other type of physical activity. Why? Learning new steps improves intellectual fitness, and if you dance with a group or a partner, you’re being social.

There are countless benefits to dancing. I realized this when I started line dancing five years ago. I was struggling with anxiety and as I continued learning how to line dance, the anxiety disappeared. I felt more confident, energetic, and inspired as I knew line dancing was promoting my health both physically and mentally, and I was having an awesome time!

Line dance to me is a great a way to express myself. Thru dance I have learned to connect with people, create friendships and ultimately help me to relieve stress. I would be lost without my serpentine step to say the least. And above all, the joy of helping others to be better dancer in their own way.
